In an unprecedented move, the USA President declared in a post on 16th March 2025 that the Pardons that his predecessor Joe Biden gave to the “Unselected Committee of Political Thugs” are now “null, void, vacant and of no further force or effect because of the fact that they were done by AutoPen". Therefore, the Pardoned “should fully understand that they are subject to investigation at the highest level”, he added.

Some recent investigations showed that most of Biden’s signatures on Executive Orders and Pardons were actually AutoPen. The rare document that Biden sign on his own was the notice of withdrawal from the presidential race in 2024.
Many Republican politicians used to reason that if Joe Biden was declared too incompetent to undergo investigation for those classified documents and too old and mentally unfit to run for president a second term, then every pardon and executive order he signed should be declared null and void because he could not possibly know or comprehend what he was signing.
It's likely that the Pardoned targeted by this declaration of Donald Trump are mostly the members of various investigation committees who tried to impeach or trial him during the past 8 years.
