The billionaire’s electric vehicle company Tesla has been enduring a wave of protests, sabotages and boycotts across the USA, which found their dealers and showrooms surrounded, charge stations sabotaged, Tesla cars painted and damaged. In an X post, Musk revealed that 5 groups responsible for the incidents were funded by ActBlue which was the main fundraising platform for Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign.

Musk named the 5 groups including Troublemakers, Disruption Project, Rise & Resist, Indivisible Project and Democratic Socialists of America. ActBlue funders include George Soros, Reid Hoffman, Herbert Sandler, Patricia Bauman, and Leah Hunt-Hendrix, according to Musk.
Some unconfirmed reports indicated that ActBlue processed over $1 billion for Harris’s campaign across the election cycle, though this figure lacks precise, official confirmation from ActBlue itself.
ActBlue is currently under investigation for allowing foreign and illegal donations in criminal violation of campaign finance regulations.
With some initial evidence, House Speaker Mike Johnson last year assigned the House Admin Chairman to lead the investigation into ActBlue when the presidential race was in its boiling stage. He raised concerns that foreign nations possibly laundered money through ActBlue to influence the presidential election.
With the Department of Justice now under Trump Administration, Attorney General Pam Bondi is said to participate in the ongoing investigation also.
