In the picture, her wearing headphone was not plugged to the phone, and all the paper sheets on her table were just blank, despite she seemed to be writing something on. Most viewers think that she was just posing for the photo op, rather than was actually working during the flight.
According to CNN, Helene hit 6 states in the US, left at least 119 people dead and communities “wiped off the map”, almost 2 million people still don’t have power and communication. Countless families have no idea whether their loved ones survived, as Helene’s rampage shredded communication infrastructure.
Neither President Biden nor Vice President Kamala Harris has visited the field to command the relief efforts. Trump has arrived at a badly-hit county in Georgia on 30th Sept, along with truckloads of relief items such as oil, water, petroleum, equipment... He said he was talking to Elon Musk to set up Starlink in the affected communities to help them resume communication. Communication seems to be first priority now since it would help the relief force know where the victims are and what kind of urgent help they are in need of.
