POLIBIZ – As an event in his presidential campaign in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the former president himself processed some fries at a McDonald’s and delivered to the drive-through customers, each with some cozy greetings and small talks.

The billionaire seems to aim at increasing the bonds and connections between him and the working class voters, as well as proving he is still in good mental and physical conditions. There have been a lot of “cut & cap” distorting videos in both social media and mainstream media recently, seemly composed by his opponents, claiming he is too old to become a president.
The idea of become a McDonald’s cook may be inspired by Kamala Harris’ frequent saying that she used to work at this giant fast-food franchise during her college. Trump often claimed that Kalama’s statement was a lie, and he repeated it to some of his “customers” at the event. The former president, in the franchise’s cook uniform, also said “happy 60th birthday” to his female presidential opponent.
Outside the restaurant where Trump was working, crowds of his supporters chanted his name, with banners and American flags.
Cleverly swimming in the political waters, McDonald’s stated that it and the franchisees “do not have records for all positions dating back to the early 80s”, so essentially neither justified nor rejected Kamala’s fancy memories with McDonald’s years ago.
It’s interesting to see that working as a cook or a waiter is now considered a must-have background for high-profile politicians in the USA.
As for Trump, despite multiple claims that his action was faked and staged, he successfully conveyed and portrayed the traditional image of a grandpa in the kitchen attentively and diligently preparing meals for a big family. It was also a chance for him to tell the people that he is serious with everything he’s doing, he’s ready to work, he’s ready to work hard, he’s ready to work by his own hand and with his own mind, and he’s ready to learn (at least from the young cooking coach at McDonald’s).
