It’s still unclear that the actions and manners of Ukrainian President during his meeting (in front of journalists) with American leaders were either well-planned or abrupt under emotional pressures. However, it’s obvious that the meeting failed under the day light: his team was reportedly asked to leave the White House earlier than scheduled, their lunch sets were eaten by White House staffs and the planned joint press conference was cancelled. President Trump repeated his description of Zelenskyy’s manner as “disrespect” in a new post on Truth Social.

If a peace deal for the Russia – Ukraine war could not be reached, the USA would face a dilemma in its decision of whether providing more aids to Ukraine or not.
If it is to provide more aids to Ukraine, the action would go against the overall strategy of Trump Administration to cut waste, fraud and federal expenditures to tackle the federal fiscal deficit. And outside, the war would keep going on, more causalities would occur and the chance of the USA’s recovering its “loans” would get dimmer. The war may only stop when one side is totally defeated.
If it is to suspend all aids and military equipment to Ukraine, then Russia would gain advantages in the battlefield. More Ukrainian land in Russia’s hand means less minerals access and dimmer chance of paybacks for the USA.
As angered as Donald Trump may have been due to Zelenskyy’s disrespectful behavior, the American President still lets his White House’s gate open: Zelenskyy “can come back when he is ready for Peace”.
