Donald Trump: The person not wanting to make a Russia–Ukraine deal won’t be around very long

In a talk with press at the White House on 3rd Mar 2025, the American President said that "The [Ukraine] deal can be made very fast. It should not be that hard a deal to make ... Now, maybe somebody doesn't want to make a deal. And if somebody doesn't want to make a deal, I think that person won't be around very long." A few hours prior, Ukrainian President told AP News that a deal to end the war between Ukraine and Russia “is still very, very far away” and he believed the American aid would keep flowing.

American Secretary of Commerce: Zelenskyy demanded $300b in reparations from Russia for a peace deal

In an interview on CNN, Secretary Howard Lutnick revealed what Ukrainian President demanded behind-the-cameras during the meeting at the White House on 28th Feb. According to Lutnick,  Zelensky said, “I want $300b in reparations from Russia. I want them off my land. I want all the land.”. Lutnick commented that “Really! All the land ... it's just way too far. That's not a peacemaker. That's a troublemaker." “Enough is enough” was what Donald Trump and JD Vance said after the insults they endured from Zenlenskyy.

Donald Trump announced an additional $100 billion investment from Taiwan Semiconductor Giant

At the White House on Monday 3rd March 2025, it was announced that Taiwan semiconductor giant TMSC would invest additionally 100$ billion to build another five factories in the US. This development has helped reinforcing Donald Trump’s strategy of using high tariffs as a leverage to encourage foreign investors come to the USA.

USA Government’s key personnel drop hints of “stepping aside the European affairs”

The meeting of clashes with Ukrainian President at the White House late Feb 2025, followed by the non-USA London Summit have caused substantial damages to the Trump Administration. The incidents have widened the divide in the USA, both in public and political spheres, against what Donald Trump has tried to narrow and reunify; turning the American President and Vice President into the targets of defamation by a large portion of populations not only the USA but also worldwide. Instead of the previous hasty efforts toward some achievements in the peace deal, leaders of the USA now show signals that they had better focus on the already-complicated internal affairs of their home country instead of reaching their hands overseas, especially when they have been provided with enough excuses to do so.

The Russia – Ukraine war expectedly to escalate after London Summit March 2025

The high-stake London Summit organized by the UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, attended by most EU leaders and Canadian Prime Minister, Ukrainian President did not select a face among them to be the new intermediator for a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine as some observers may expect. Instead, it was announced that Britain, France, and Ukraine have united on drafting a ceasefire proposal to be presented directly to the United States. Besides, some of their plans would likely increase fire in the battlefields and make it more complicated for future talks with Russian President.

Donald Trump: President Zelenskyy “disrespected the United States of America in its cherished Oval Office”

It’s still unclear that the actions and manners of Ukrainian President during his meeting (in front of journalists) with American leaders were either well-planned or abrupt under emotional pressures. However, it’s obvious that the meeting failed under the day light: his team was reportedly asked to leave the White House earlier than scheduled, their lunch sets were eaten by White House staffs and the planned joint press conference was cancelled. President Trump repeated his description of Zelenskyy’s manner as “disrespect” in a new post on Truth Social.

Ukrainian President shows little diplomatic skills at the USA’s Oval Office

Volodymyr Zelenskyy behaved in an uncomfortable and disrespectful manner to his host counterparts President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance in a televised meeting at the White House on 28th Feb 2025 to discuss a deal to end the Russia-Ukraine war. The Ukrainian leader crossed his arms across his chest most of the time, continuously interrupted Trump’s words, and then proceeded to have a side conversation with his colleague while JD Vance was speaking.

Donald Trump to impose 25% tariffs on Mexico and Canada to pressure their tightening the control of out-migration to the US

American President-elect Donald Trump announced to sign Executive Orders on his first day at office 20th Jan 2025 to "charge Mexico and Canada a 25% tariff on all products coming to the US", which will remain effective until drug and illegal aliens from these two countries stop flooding into the US. There are reports of a caravan of thousands Mexican immigrants heading to the Mexico-US border to enter the US before Trump taking office. The big influx of illegal immigrants to the US has been facilitated partly by the open-border policy of the Biden-Harris Administration and partly by the home-country governments’ lack of measures to discourage their out-migrants.
